Hello! I'm Jason Owen, your candidate for the Pennsylvania State House. We need a strong leader to work hard for our community. As your Representative, I will look for ways to invest in our future by investing in our youth. I will fight for real government reform that results in real change and will work toward finally fulfilling the promise of property tax elimination.

Investing in Our Future by Investing in Our Youth

We must find ways to invest in our youth, and make Erie County, as well as all of Pennsylvania, more enticing to young people. Pennsylvania's young adults are leaving our state at an alarming rate. They are our future and we must work to make Pennsylvania their home, too.

An aspect of this includes focusing on the creation and retention of family-sustaining jobs, to supplement the various industries that make-up the Erie County economy.

Real Government Reform that Results in Real Change

We need real government reform that results in real change, not just more words from the politicians in Harrisburg. We must restore integrity in our state government, and we will start in my local office and lead by example with more transparent government.

Finally Fulfilling the Promise of Property Tax Elimination

Pennsylvania taxpayers were promised the elimination of all property taxes with the introduction of casinos to the state. Like you, I am still waiting to see actual results from Harrisburg. I promise you that I will make the complete elimination of property taxes a priority as your State Representative.

I ask for your vote on Election Day on Tuesday, November 4th. Together we will make Erie a better place to live, work, and raise a family!
